ONLINE DISCUSSION: Role of evidence in developing online safety

October 8, 2014

|Recurring Event (See all)

Join NetSafe in a discussion in the VLN about the role of evidence in developing safe and responsible online use in teaching and learning. We are asking…

How important is it to know activities young people are doing online or the challenges they face?

What about the perspective and expectations of parents and whānau for the use of digital technology in learning?

Finally, what about teacher capability? Does this need measuring as part of an effective approach to developing “cyber safe” schools.

Bring your ideas, opinions and your own questions to the discussion. It begins on 8 October.

You can follow this short link to the VLN ( http://bit.ly/1xoOa4C ) or use the *Venue* website link at the bottom of this event page.
