WORKSHOP: 21 Century Learning Design Workshop
October 24, 2014 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
This highly interactive and learner-centered one day workshop on 21st Century Learning Design (21CLD) helps educators achieve improved learning outcomes for their students through:
• Analysing and ‘coding’ learning activities to see how deeply they integrate 21st century skills
• Collaborating to upgrade their own planning to provide deeper 21st century skills development in their learners
• Examining the potential impact of these learning activities on students’ work
• Using technology effectively as a tool in the learning process
It helps educators critically reflect on their practice and become active and egaged knowledge-builders who adopt, model and utilise the skills they wish to instill in their students, in alignment with ‘teaching as inquiry’.
The workshop is best suited to educators ranging from primary, through secondary and tertiary, as well as for teachers in training.
